An abstract, heart- pounding work for six women, one man set to the music of the Japanese drum group, Kodo. The first movement demonstrates a gathering of community. The final movement is a series of divertisements showing the versatility and technical abilities of the dancers. These two driving sections juxtapose a tender solo set to a bamboo flute.
